27 3D ModelsArtemide is the Italian lighting brand founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza in Pregnana Milanese, Lombardy, recognised for design icons featured in the permanent collections of MoMA New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Centre Pompidou.
The brand has produced century-defining lamps including the Tizio by Richard Sapper (1972), the Tolomeo by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina (1987, Compasso d'Oro 1989), the Callimaco by Ettore Sottsass (1982), the Eclisse by Vico Magistretti (1965 — Compasso d'Oro) and the Nesso by Giancarlo Mattioli (1965). Artemide collaborates with internationally renowned designers and architects, with manufacturing centred in northern Italy and a research-led approach to The Human and Responsible Light philosophy.
