Licenses

3D Model Unity products are released under two license types: a Standard License covering most catalog products and an Editorial License applied to selected branded products that require attribution restrictions.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Every 3D model purchased on 3DModel Unity comes with one of two licenses, shown on the product page next to the price. Both are one-time payments: no recurring fees per model. These license terms form an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

Editorial License (most products)

You may:

  • download the Models from the Website and use them for your personal or professional needs;
  • use the Models within more complex creations such as industrial design, architecture, interior design and similar projects, for artistic, professional or commercial purposes;
  • use the Models in entertainment and editorial applications such as books and book covers, magazines, newspapers, editorials and newsletters;
  • use the Models in online or electronic publications, including web pages and internet broadcasts, as well as prints, posters, catalogs, brochures and portfolio work;
  • modify the Models (materials, textures, scale, geometry) so that they conform to your project needs.

You may not:

  • use renders of the Model in advertising, packaging or product communication that presents the depicted product as your own or implies an endorsement by the original brand;
  • license or sublicense the Models for commercial or promotional purposes where the very object of the commercial transaction is the Model itself.

Full License (selected brand partners)

Models from our brand partners — currently Alice Ceramica, Olympia Ceramica , Zad Italy and WallZad — come with a Full License. It includes everything in the Editorial License, plus:

  • commercial use of the renders without editorial restrictions, including advertising, promotional projects, CG displays, multimedia presentations, film and video, commercials, broadcast and theatrical performances relating to the licensed products.

Restrictions common to both licenses

  • The Models may not be distributed, published, sold, assigned, transferred or otherwise redistributed in the form of a 3D or 2D model, 3D scene, material or texture.
  • The Models may not be redistributed as part of a scene, animation or any other format from which a Model or any part of it may be separately exported, extracted or decompiled into a redistributable form.
  • The Models may not be included in asset packs, stock libraries, model marketplaces or datasets used to train artificial-intelligence models.
  • You may not remove any copyright notice, trademark or other proprietary right present in or incorporated into the Model.
  • Modified versions of the Models remain derivatives of the original and may not be sold or distributed as your own.
  • The license is personal to the purchasing account: for individuals, you; for companies, your team working on your projects. It is not transferable to third parties.

Which license do I have?

Each product page shows "Editorial License" or "Full License" next to the price. Your order emails and invoices list the products purchased. Some Models may carry additional limitations from our licensors, indicated on the specific product page.
