About this 3D Model

Ikea Mammut

The Ikea Mammut is a high-quality 3D model. Mammut is the iconic line of children furniture designed for Ikea by Morten Kjelstrup and Allan Østgaard, launched in the 1994 Ikea catalogue and voted Furniture of the Year by Swedish magazine Sköna Hem. Originally produced in solid wood and particleboard with polystyrene legs, since 1999 the Mammut chair has been moulded in UV-resistant polypropylene plastic, available in white, light blue, lilac and bright green for indoor and outdoor use.

The model is built in Rhinoceros (Rhino 3D) using clean NURBS geometry, organised by layers for efficient material assignment and flexible scene integration. Native dimensions are real product specifications, matching the real product specifications. The file is exportable to FBX, OBJ and 3DM with compatibility for KeyShot, V-Ray and other professional rendering pipelines.

Suitable for children bedrooms, kindergartens, family interior visualization and lifestyle CGI. Recommended for architects, interior designers and 3D artists working on children furniture projects and product-driven CGI.

Many pieces have remained in production for decades.

Ikea

IKEA is a Swedish furniture and home accessories company founded in 1943 in Älmhult, Småland, by Ingvar Kamprad at the age of 17. The acronym combines the founder's initials with Elmtaryd, the family farm, and Agunnaryd, the village where Kamprad grew up. The company added furniture to its catalog in 1948 and developed the flat-pack format starting in 1956 with the LÖVET table.

The catalog includes long-running pieces such as the Billy bookcase, the Poäng armchair, the Llippan sofa and the Lack table, designed in collaboration with Niels Gammelgaard, Tord Björklund, Noboru Nakamura and the IKEA of Sweden in-house team in Älmhult. The company became the world's largest furniture seller in 2008 and operates stores in more than 50 countries.

The 3D Model Unity catalog of IKEA includes high-precision NURBS models built for Rhinoceros 3D, with native rendering profiles for V-Ray, KeyShot and Corona, suitable for residential, retail and contract interior visualization projects.
