Jasper Morrison is a British industrial designer born in London in 1959, founder of Jasper Morrison Office for Design in 1986. After training at the Royal College of Art he developed a quiet, essentialist approach to product design that has become a defining language of contemporary European design — articulated together with Naoto Fukasawa as the "super normal" philosophy. For Magis he designed the Air Chair (1999), one of the first chairs produced via gas-injection moulding, alongside collaborations with Vitra, Cappellini, Alessi, Flos and Muji. The 3D Model Unity catalog includes high-precision NURBS 3D models of Jasper Morrison pieces for Magis, available for Rhinoceros 3D.
