The Acer Design Team is the in-house industrial design and product team of Acer Inc., the Taiwanese technology company founded in 1976 in Hsinchu by Stan Shih, Carolyn Yeh and five co-founders. The team is responsible for the form factor, materials and user experience of Acer laptops, desktops, monitors and peripherals.Design work spans consumer, professional and gaming product lines, including the Predator, ConceptD and Swift series, with operations in Taipei, San José, Milan and Shanghai. The team has received multiple iF Design and Red Dot awards.The 3D Model Unity catalog of the Acer Design Team includes high-precision NURBS models built for Rhinoceros 3D, with native rendering profiles for V-Ray, KeyShot and Corona, suitable for product design, retail and concept visualization projects.
