ACER

Acer is a Taiwanese technology company founded in 1976 in Hsinchu by Stan Shih, Carolyn Yeh and five co-founders, originally as Multitech and renamed Acer in 1987. The company started as a distributor of electronic parts and as the manufacturer of the Micro-Professor MPF-I training kit, before entering the IBM PC compatible market.

Acer has grown into one of the largest global manufacturers of personal computers, laptops and displays, with sub-brands including Predator for gaming and ConceptD for design and creator workflows. The Acer Design Team develops the industrial design of consumer and professional computing devices, with operations in Taipei, San José, Milan and Shanghai.

The 3D Model Unity catalog of Acer includes high-precision NURBS models built for Rhinoceros 3D, with native rendering profiles for V-Ray, KeyShot and Corona, suitable for product design, retail visualization and concept development projects.
