Ferruccio Laviani is an Italian architect and designer born in Cremona in 1960, art director of Kartell since 1991 and founder of Studio Laviani in Milan. He has shaped the brand's contemporary identity through product design, exhibition design and visual communication.
His Bourgie table lamp (2004) for Kartell, a polycarbonate reinterpretation of the classic baroque lamp, has become a contemporary icon and is now in the permanent collection of MoMA New York.
