Stefano Giovannoni is an Italian industrial designer born in La Spezia in 1954, founder of Giovannoni Design in Milan since 1989. He is recognised internationally for his playful, anthropomorphic and brightly coloured product design across furniture, kitchenware and consumer goods.

For Magis he designed the Bombo stool (1997), one of the most produced stools in design history, alongside collaborations with Alessi (Mami, Pinocchio, Magic Bunny), 3M, Henkel and Siemens.
