Verner Panton
Verner Panton (1926–1998) was a Danish designer, one of the most influential figures of European twentieth-century design. After working in Arne Jacobsen's office, he opened his own studio in 1955 and developed an experimental approach to colour, form and material that defined Pop and Space-Age design in the 1960s and 1970s.His Panton Chair (1967), the first single-form injection-moulded plastic chair in history, is now part of the permanent collections of MoMA and the Vitra Design Museum and is produced by Vitra. The 3D Model Unity catalog includes high-precision NURBS 3D models of the Verner Panton Panton Chair for Vitra, available for Rhinoceros 3D.
