Valerio Sommella

Valerio Sommella is an Italian designer born in 1976, founder of Studio Sommella in Milan. After training as an architect at the Politecnico di Milano and working with Marc Newson and Stefano Giovannoni, he developed an independent practice across product, lighting and exhibition design.His work for Alessi, Lavazza, Petite Friture and Iittala is recognised for refined geometry and a humanist approach.
