Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish architect and designer born in Oviedo in 1961, based in Milan since the late 1980s. She studied at the Politecnico di Milano under Achille Castiglioni and has served as art director of Cassina since 2015.Her work spans furniture, lighting, interiors, exhibition design and architecture, with collaborations across Cassina, Moroso, B&B Italia, Kartell, Flos, Mutina and Louis Vuitton. She received the Dezeen Interior Designer of the Year award in 2023.
