Le Corbusier
Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, 1887–1965) was a Swiss-French architect, designer and urbanist, one of the founding figures of modern architecture. His pioneering work spans from the Villa Savoye and the Unité d'Habitation to influential furniture designs developed at his Paris atelier with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.His architectural and design principles — the Five Points of Architecture, the Modulor proportional system — shaped twentieth-century building and interior practice.
