About Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand (1903–1999) was a French architect and designer who joined the Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret atelier in Paris in 1927, where she contributed to the development of foundational modernist furniture. Her independent practice produced ground-breaking designs for low tables, modular shelving and the Mexique storage system, alongside research on mountain architecture and tropical contexts during her years in Japan and Vietnam. Her work is now extensively re-edited by Cassina under the I Maestri collection. The 3D Model Unity catalog includes high-precision NURBS 3D models of Perriand pieces, including the Mexique low table and the Plateau Interchangeable, available for Rhinoceros 3D.
