Charles Rennie Mackintosh
Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868–1928) was a Scottish architect, designer and watercolourist born in Glasgow, central figure of the Glasgow School and a precursor of European modernism. His work combines Art Nouveau influences with strong rectilinear geometries, particularly visible in his iconic chairs designed for Hill House and other domestic interiors.Mackintosh's furniture is celebrated for its sculptural verticality and formal severity, qualities that anticipated twentieth-century design. The 3D Model Unity catalog includes high-precision NURBS 3D models of Mackintosh pieces re-edited by Cassina, including the Hill House and Willow chairs, available for Rhinoceros 3D.
